Ingredients
- 1 oz vodka (vanilla vodka works well)
- 1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
- 1 oz caramel liqueur (such as Baileys Caramel or other caramel liqueurs)
- 1 oz freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
- 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
- Ice
- Optional: Caramel syrup or a caramelized sugar rim (for garnish)
- Garnish: Whipped cream, caramel drizzle, or a sprinkle of sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Optionally, create a caramelized sugar rim. To do this, moisten the rim of the martini glass with a little water or a lime wedge, then dip it into sugar. You can also drizzle some caramel syrup inside the glass for added flavor and decoration.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, coffee liqueur, caramel liqueur, espresso, and heavy cream (or half-and-half). Add ice to fill the shaker.
- Shake: Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the cocktail is well-chilled and frothy.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
- Garnish: Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel syrup, or a sprinkle of sugar for extra sweetness and flair.
