Ingredients

  • 1 box (3 oz) grape or berry-flavored Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup vodka
  • ½ cup Triple Sec
  • Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • Colored sugar (for rimming)

Instructions

    Prepare the Jello base:

  1. Dissolve the Jello mix in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Allow it to cool slightly (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add the booze:

  4. Stir in ½ cup vodka and ½ cup Triple Sec. Mix well.
  5. Pour and chill:

  6. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or small plastic cups.
  7. Refrigerate for 2–4 hours, or until fully set.
  8. Decorate the rims:

  9. Before serving, dip the rim of each shot glass into a bit of simple syrup or water, then coat with colored sugar for a festive touch.
  10. Add the whipped cream:
  11. Top each Jello shot with a dollop of whipped cream.
