Caramel Apple & Brie Christmas Tree Tartlets

Ingredients

    Tartlets

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced into small pieces
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Garnish

  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

    Prepare the Puff Pastry:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Using a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut out as many trees as possible.
  3. Assemble the Tartlets:

  4. Place half of the pastry trees on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Arrange a small piece of brie in the center of each tree, followed by a few thin apple slices and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  6. Top each filled tree with another puff pastry tree. Press the edges gently to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake:

  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  10. Garnish and Serve:

  11. Dust the tartlets with powdered sugar for a snowy effect and garnish with rosemary sprigs to mimic a holiday tree.
