Pepperoni Pizza Layer Cake

Pepperoni Pizza Layer Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 pizza doughs (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1½ cups pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional toppings: sliced olives, bell peppers, mushrooms

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease three 9-inch round cake pans with olive oil.

  • Prepare the Pizza Dough:
Roll out each pizza dough into a 9-inch circle. Place each dough into the greased pans, ensuring they fit snugly.

  • Assemble the Layers:
Layer 1: Spread ½ cup pizza sauce over the first dough. Add 1 cup mozzarella cheese and a layer of pepperoni.
Layer 2: Place the second dough on top. Spread another ½ cup pizza sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, and more pepperoni.
Layer 3: Top with the final dough. Spread the remaining pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Sprinkle Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning on top.

  • Bake:
Place the stacked pizzas in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  • Cool & Serve:
Let the pizza cake cool for 5 minutes. Run a knife around the edges and carefully remove it from the pans. Slice and serve like a cake!
