Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Layer the mashed potatoes on top, smoothing them out with a spoon.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the potatoes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
